Frequently asked questions about tree surgery services

What areas do you cover?

Are you insured?

We have insurance covering £5m public liability, arranged through Trust Insurance Services.

Can you give me a tree surgery quote via email or on the phone?

We’re happy to receive enquiries via email but it would be really difficult to be able to give you an accurate quote without seeing the size of the job. We pride ourselves on offering a service bespoke to your specific needs and we can only really understand that by being visiting the site and understanding your needs.

What's a Tree Preservation Order?

It is a written order made by a local planning authority (usually a borough or district council) which makes it an offence to cut down, top, lop, uproot, damage or destroy a tree protected by an order without the authority’s permission.

How much will it cost to cut down my tree?

There are so many variables with tree removal, that we really can’t give a price for this work without seeing the size of the task at hand. Please contact us and we’ll come out, understand the job and give you a quote.

What's the best time of year for tree work?

It all depends on the tree! Get in touch and we’ll pop out and give you a quote. If we think you’d be better off waiting before we undertake the work, we’ll let you know.

Do you work with insurance companies?

We’re more than happy to work with insurance firms, councils or any other body that might need our help. Contact us and we’ll see if we can help.

Do you hold a waste disposal licence?

Yes. Garwood Tree Management is registered as a lower tier waste carrier with the Environment Agency.
